American Idol: New Orleans Auditions

The IDOL train rolled through New Orleans and the auditions were another win in my opinion!   Here’s a few of my favorite moments from the show… – Alli

Jacee Badeaux is a 15-year-old kid, who looks even younger, but he is really great.  Jacee’s voice sort of reminds me of Justin Bieber.  If he makes it through Hollywood and gets an “Idol makeover” he could be a little Lady Killer!  Check out his rendition of Otis Redding’s “Sittin On the Dock of the Bay.”

Another one of my favorites last night was 16-year-old Brett Lowenstern.   He had a hard time with bullies growing up, and he wants to inspire others to see past hate and believe in themselves.  I love his attitude and I really LOVE his version of “Bohemian Rhapsody!”

Paris Tassin is the mom of a special needs child.  Her audition brought J Lo to tears.  What about you?…

And my favorite Idol Reject from New Orleans?….Gabriel Franks!  His rendition of Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” was truly inspired.  Just listening is not enough.  You much watch the video to see how his eyes roll into the back of  his head as he seems to become possessed by the spirit of Gaga.  Enjoy!
