WATCH: Christina Aguilera’s National Anthem FAIL

Did you notice Christina Aguilera’s epic mess-up last night during the Super Bowl’s National Anthem?

At about :42 in the video, she left out “O’er the ramparts we watched” and instead sang “what so proudly we watched at the twilight’s last [who know what she said].”

Of course they cut to the players and soldiers for a “reaction.” AWKWARD. She said:

“I got so caught up in the moment of the song that I lost my place. I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through.”
