Idols Bank on Summer Tour

The top 11 “American Idol” finalists will earn some good money on this summer’s Idols Live! Tour.  The dates stretch from July 6th in Utah through September 10th in Rochester, New York. 

According to TMZ, the finalists are each pulling down $1,000 per show, and they’ll also be given $50 in spending money on their off-days.  There are 47 dates on the tour and 20 off-days.  That makes their summer total close to $8,000 each!  

In addition, all of the travel expenses will be covered.  They are “guaranteed to stay in ‘Marriott / Hyatt style’ hotel accommodations while on the road  and will fly coach between tour stops.” 

I’m sayin’ that’s pretty good for two months of work!
