UPDATE: Thank you to everyone who donated goods and/or cash to help the Joplin Relief! With your help we were able to fill not one, but THREE GIANT moving trucks full of supplies! The trucks left on their way to Joplin, MO at 5:50am on Wednesday morning.
Bryan Broadcasting and KBTX Media are joining forces to collect supplies from the Brazos Valley to help the survivors of the Joplin Tornado. The town of Joplin has been devestated by yesterday’s storms. To help, we’re going to collect the following goods to send immediately.
*Water
*Batteries
*Tarps
*Diapers
*Blankets
*Toiletries (Of ALL KINDS. They need it all!!)
*Baby Formula
UPDATE: Money will be accepted and will be used to purchase items listed above. You can specify which goods your donation should be used to purchse.
PLEASE NO FOOD DONATIONS!
Morning Candy, Brazos Valley This Morning, and WTAW will broadcast live from the front of the Crystal Park Plaza (2700 Earl Rudder Fwy South in College Station) starting at 6. We’ll keep going until we’ve filled the biggest truck we can find.
As soon as we’ve filled the truck, we’re driving it there ourselves.
You can drop off goods starting at 6am. TELL YOUR FRIENDS!! Let’s show Joplin how much we care.
UPDATE: If you can’t make it out, but would like to donate online, please use our PayPal donation button.

We dropped off a case of contact lens solution. Can you think of other eye care related products that would be helpful? What about glasses cleaning cloths and cleaning spray?

I know you asked for no food donations. What about baby food along with formula and diapers?
Baby formula and diapers are an EXCELLENT idea!!! As well as DOG FOOD!!
I already brought formula and diapers. Wondering about stained baby food and baby cereal.

Thank you for the opportunity to help! Meeting you in person was also great and, yes people, everyone is outside to help unload-load the GIANT truck! ANY small thing or cash amount helps so make the quick trip up there! Let’s get that truck fast on it’s way so the people in Joplin get them “now”!
Thank you so much for all of your hard work for Joplin. I lived in Joplin for 8 years and can’t even think about going through all this. I know I would love to be there to help. I know that all my friends are accounted for but many of their houses and cars are gone. I worked at St. John’s in the ER for 5 years so it really hard to see those pictures. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE that is helping.
AWESOME!!!!
