Facebook Gives Roger Ebert the boot
Amid the controversy over Roger’s comments conerning Ryan Dunn’s death, Facebook has disabled his Facebook page.
After news of Dunn’s passing, Roger tweeted,
“Friends don’t let jackasses drink and drive.” And added, “He drank, he drove, 2 people died.”
Well, that was enough to get a backlash intense and malicious comments going on Facebook. Because of the comments that other users made on Roger’s page, Facebook decided to take it down completely. Roger Ebert is not happy about the turn of events. This morning he tweeted,
“Facebook has removed my page in response, apparently, to malicious complaints from one or two jerks.” And continued, “Facebook! My page is harmless and an asset to you. Why did you remove it in response to anonymous jerks?”
