Evacuation information:

• People in the effected areas of Grimes County (Dyer Mill Fire) are being evacuated to the Red Cross Evacuee Shelter located at Navasota High School.
• According to KBTX.com, the Houston SPCA has set up a Mobile Animal Shelter (MASH) at the Navasota Auction Barn at 7846 Highway 90 South in Navasota.  For more information call Meera Nandal at 713-869-7722.
• Large animals such as livestock can be taken to the Mid Tex auction barn at 5105 Highway 90 South in Navasota.
