Watch: Will.i.am Forgets His Lyrics

Even seasoned professional artists can forget thier own lyrics sometimes.  The Black Eyed Peas were doing a taped performance of their song, “Don’t Stop the Party” on a French television show called Taratata and will.i.am. blanked on his words.  So…it was his smartphone to the rescue! 

will.i.am actually pulled out his phone mid-song and performed  his entire part by reading the lyrics off the screen!  I can cut him a little bit of slack because the guy who was performing with him was singing the lyrics in French.  Maybe it threw him off?  Still, you would think if he was that nervous about it they could have got him a teleprompter or something.  Yikes…
