I’m not a Debbie Downer, I just want the facts straight!
While it’s not too hot to melt a playground, it is still too hot for kids to run around outside far from home and a steady supply of cool water. Families shouldn’t let the kids run around in this dangerous heat. Also, since the fire was likely a result of juvenile delinquents up to no good, putting a barrier around it probably won’t stop them anyway. I’m sure the subdivision HOA will replace the playground equipment as soon as it’s safe for kids to frolic outside.
Ummmm, yeah. Wow-I’m pretty sure I didn’t get “told.”Very weak. And I’m pretty sure Teresa just went off on something I was not saying. I meant why isn’t there a barrier around it to keep the kids off of faulty equipment. I’m not sooo dumb to realize a fence doesn’t keep out delinquents. And I definatly have seen kids playing at our neighborhood playground everyday in this heat. Yup, they’re fine. Just went to a football game last night where kids played in 102 heat. Yup, they’re fine. Unless you have kids, you don’t get to give parenting advice. And if you do have kids, I feel really bad for them. You are getting all passionate about a picture of a melting playground (oh, I’m sorry…fire damaged playground) on a radio station website. It’s not like it’s national news or something. Geez

Linz you just got told how about just stfu and live with it.
That’s actually from a fire that happened last month. Not actually from the heat outside!
Thanks Debbie Downer. Sooo…why isn’t there some sort of barrier around it? The kiddos are aloud to still play on it?
