Amy Winehouse Coroner’s Report

The report is out and the coroner says Winehouse drank herself to death, or in London’s terms, she died of “misadventure”. At the time of her death, the 27-year-old had a blood alcohol level nearly 5 times the legal driving limit. Pathology tests affirmed there were no drugs in the singers body other than small traces of the sedative, Librium, which Winehouse was prescribed to use in assistance to her withdrawal from drugs and alcohol. While those involved in the investigation have remained fairly tight lipped, the investigator who initially reported to the scene is now saying they did find empty vodka bottles in her room.

Here’s the last known piece of work Amy did before her death; a duet with Tony Bennett of his classic, “Body and Soul”.
