LISTEN: Ryan Seacrest Faking Surprise at Kardashian Divorce

I heard this and had to post it. It’s from Ryan’s radio show today. Look, I’m not saying Ryan’s an evil guy (I’m actually one of his biggest fans) but he’s also the guy who most likely knows EVERYTHING that’s going on in the Kardashian family. He’s the person directly responsible for ALL OF THIER SHOWS, spin-offs, etc. I love how he puts on the “surprised, concerned voice” for this bit. I also like how he acts surprised at there being “rumors” of a split. Dude, you host E!News. You’ve been READING those rumors on TV for at least a week now.

For the record later on in the show Ryan released Kim’s official statement:

After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.

TMZ.com says the problem was Kim didn’t want to move to Minnesota where Kris is from. That was the deal breaker. Minnesota. Go figure.

A bunch of other sites say they had issues going in but got “caught up” in the wedding hype (which was generated for the benefit of the cameras trying to make deadline for sweeps).

Look, any marriage breaking up is sad…but this wasn’t a marriage. If where you are going to live became a deal breaker in the first three months you had NO BUSINESS getting married to begin with. Except if you’re doing it for a quick $20 Million payday. The payday of course being the idea of the producers of her show…the leader of whom is Ryan Seacrest.

Spare me the fakery, Ryan. Honestly if there’s someone to point the finger at for this whole disaster he’s short, beautiful, and about to head east for some American Idol tapings shortly. Dude should have known better.

Editorial over.
