Occupy Wall Street Rant

Already had a few emails to post my “Occupy Wall Street” rant from today, so here it is:

If you want to know “what percent” you fall in, the Wall Street Journal put together a page for that: What Percent Am I?

Just remember, no matter what you are here…you’re STILL IN THE 1% GLOBALLY. That makes your problems “rich people problems”. If you want to make a difference with people in your community who are in need, stop protesting AND VOLUNTEER SOMEWHERE!!! Just my two cents…

In the news segment just prior to this “rant” you mentioned the growing student loan debt of graduates, and a new reliance on borrored money to pay fo college. I don’t understand how in the same breath you could attack a “rich student” persona living in ”luxury student appartments.” I hope you can see how those things don’t add up. Although there are some students that live that way, a lot of collge students pay there own way through college, and as the news report mentioned have every right to be upset at high interest rates & rising cost of tuition.

You followed stories about $39K backpacks and $19k gold shoe laces with Occupy Wall Street and you can’t make the connection as to why people are pissed off at the rich?
