@cher did you know that b-tch @NickiMinaj dissed you in her song DIDITONEM?
Cher immediately responded with:
I’ve seen lots of people come & go! No biggie!
Ouch. Nicki then wrote back:
Then, Nicki’s boyfriend Safaree Samuels got involved in the “fight,” tweeting:
yo @cher listen to the words b4 you say dumb sh-t on twitter. do you know what a rap metaphore is??? TM is a cult you dont want it with!!
Cher immediately backed down and wrote back:
You’re right! Im wrong! U R Right! Someone said I was dissed…I’ve been dissed b4, but instead of finding out…I just got defensive!
Gimme a fkn break! Said I was dumb!
The best part of this whole he said/she said ridiculous celeb pettiness is the fact that the instigating fan was referring to the song lyrics that say:”If you could turn back time–Cher/You used to be here but now you gone—Nair…” which, is a totally hilarious line in the first place!
I am pretty positive that Cher has had way worse things said about her throughout her career, so it’s funny she would jump to nasty conclusions about a rapper who just clearly needed a word to rhyme with a popular hair removal product.
With more and more fans jumping in on the feud, Minaj eventually had to step in and direct people to stop. Though she couldn’t really control her boyfriend Samuels, who seems to enjoy twitter meltdowns as much as Chris Brown. He decided to go after Chaz Bono, Cher’s son, by tweeting:
“Hi mom, you raised a hell of a son,” and ‘I don’t give a f#$% who you are if you don’t show respect you will not get it in return.”
Classy. So who won? I’m gonna go with neither.. though there is a clear loser here in all forms of the word.
