BREAKING: Russell Brand Files For Divorce From Katy Perry

Uhhh…WHY?????? TMZ.com reports that Brand HAS FILED PAPERS to divorce Katy Perry. The “irreconcilable differences” excuse was given. They also claim there will need to be a division of assests which some people say might indicate NO PRE-NUP. So sad…

“Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I’ll always adore her and I know we’ll remain friends.”

I just followed the TMZ link and saw that they mentioned the Ellen interview, complete with video!
Wow, talk about unexpected! He made a big comment on Ellen earlier in the month about how he made a vow to remain married until death, and joked that given that he’s not dead, he’s still married. Wonder how long it takes for that video to be put on YouTube…
