‘Idol’ Going Cheap?

Through the course of American Idol the runner-ups have made big bucks as well as the winners.  However a new report is showing that Idol  has cut back on giving their second place finishers contracts.  Previous runner-ups have received $175,000 record contracts.  Jessica Sanchez who came in second this season is said to only be receiving $30,000 with no guaranteed album.  Talk about a colossal drop-off! That is basically like an indie label.
