Last night, Demi Lovato and Simon Cowell sat down with Conan to talk about ‘The X Factor.’ Simon describes Lovato as “annoying.” Demi has a few choice words about Simon, as well.
“Chelsea Lately’s” Fortune Feimster impersonated Honey Boo Boo and June or “Mama” in a new (fake) sponsorship ad.
Let me preface by saying, I really hate this song.
In case you have been living under a rock, “Gangnam Style” is the most absurd dance craze since “The Wobble” and you should not attempt to do it unless a) you are willing to look like an idiot, or B) you have the physical dexterity of Britney Spears (and, apparently, Ellen DeGeneres). Ellen surprised Brit-Brit with a visit for Psy, the South Korean pop star/rapper to teach her his sick moves. Dress classy and dance cheesy, everyone!
Ri-Ri premiered her new short hair look at the VMA’s last Thursday night and now she’s showing off her breasts. Well, sort of.
The singer, who is no stranger to going under the needle, showed off her latest (and pretty large) tattoo today on Twitter, and shared that it was dedicated to her late grandmother.
Goddess Isis- Complete Woman – Model for future generations-
#GRANGRANDOLLY – always in and on my heart #1love,” she tweeted.
Ri-Ri’s body art shows Isis, with her throne-shaped headdress, bent down on one knee with her wings spread out under the singer’s breasts. Isis is the ancient Egyptian goddess of rebirth and is one of the most common images of empowered femininity.

When Saturday Night Live returns to NBC for its 38th season (this Saturday, September 15th) expect to see 3 new faces.

Deals for Aidy Bryant and Tim Robinson, rumored late last week, were made official, while sketch veteran Cecily Strong will also join the cast.
Bryant is a Second City E.T.C. Stage alum, and performed at Chicago’s Annoyance Theater.
Robinson, who also has a role in Christopher Mintz-Plasse‘s CBS’ midseason comedy, Friend Me, performed with Second City’s Mainstage and National Touring Company.
Strong also worked with the Touring Company, and trained at iO Chicago, where Bryant received her training.
SNL is facing a bit of a reboot, as long-time favorite stars Kristen Wiig and Andy Samberg officially left the show after last season. It was recently announced that Abby Elliott is exiting the show, as well. Wiig and Samberg have moved to film full time, while Elliott has an arc on How I Met Your Mother.
Seth MacFarlane, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Daniel Craig will serve as this season’s first three hosts.

Who else is voting for Kevin Hart for president?
The amazing host brought on the laughs during tonight’s 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, and between him, the stellar performances and the star-packed audience, the show gave us plenty of moments to remember—both the good and the bad.
Best Opening: Rihanna’s opening performance was full of seduction (which seems to be her thing), good music, even better dancing and—the best part—a balloon party!
Worst Protection: Host Hart entered the awards with a little security, and by little, we mean a bunch of little people. Not sure if they can protect him much, but they made Hart look very tall, so that’s good.
Best Monologue: Right away, Hart called out Drake and Chris Brown, who are both friends of his, and told them to squash their beef. And just like that, the elephant in the room was exposed. Thank you, Kevin Hart! Oh wait, then he brought up Kristen Stewart. Yeah, he went there. Kevin’s commentary on it? “So what? It happens.” There were some expletives in there, too.
Worst Dye Job: What’s going on with Chris Brown’s hair? The singer rocked his usual platinum look, but dyed the top of it light blue. Not sure if it worked in his favor.
Best Hair Twins: Miley Cyrus introduced Pink for her performance (which was beyond fantastic, by the way) and the duo were each sporting a platinum mohawk ‘do. Who wore it better? Well, we just can’t decide.
Worst Attempt at Being a Rapper: Oh, Andy Samberg. He tried to do a little flow onstage while presenting the award for Best Hip-Hop Video, and it was a cute attempt, but not exactly a win. As for Rashida Jones, she’s gangster.
Best Raw Performance: Did you guys know Frank Ocean can sing? Like, really sing? This guy took the stage tonight and without any flashy props (although, that fire was pretty cool) or loud instrumentals, Ocean showed his vocal range while serenading us with “Thinking About You” and left our ears wanting more.
Worst Attention Span: Hey, Lil Wayne, you just won an award, take your headphones off! Even while onstage with Drake to accept the award for Best Hip-Hop Video, Weezy was too preoccupied with his iPod to care about what was going on. He did lift up his shirt for us, though. How sweet.
Best (Worst) Dressed: Bachelorette star Rebel Wilson—with a bag of chips in hand—wore one of those bikini shirts on stage, and it also revealed that a bikini wax was necessary. It was so bad that it was good.
Most Awkward Snub: When Nicki Minaj went up to accept her award for Best Female Video, she passed fellow noms Ri-Ri and Katy Perry without so much as a smile their way. That’s not very nice, Nicki!
Best Dance Break: OMG, you guys, it’s Psy! The Korean rapper, whose hit “Gangnam Style” went viral on YouTube, made an appearance and performed the song’s featured dance with Hart (who didn’t seem to get the simple step-step-double step combo, but that’s OK).
Worst Tease: Ugh, the exclusive trailer for Twilight’s Breaking Dawn: Part 2 premiered during tonight’s show and it was just so great that we can hardly wait to see the flick in theaters!
Most Overdone Move: Would anyone else like to crowd dive tonight? That seemed to be the thing to do.
Best Mix: Tonight was a comeback for Alicia Keys who, aside from rocking a new, short ‘do, performed her latest single “Girl on Fire” featuring Minaj, and also included some gymnastics by gold medal winner Gabby Douglas!
Most Predictable Screenshot: Taylor Swift closed the show with her hit “We’re Never Ever Getting Back Together” (which felt like an extended Kmart back-to-school commercial) and just when we thought our assumptions were wrong, the cameras cut to Taylor Lautner. Wah-wah.

If you mess with the bull, you’re gonna get the horns.
In this case a buffalo is the “bull” and Conan’s massive bruise is the “horns.” OUCH!!
MTV has given each One Direction member their own 57 seconds worth of solo motion walking to promote the VMA’s.
MTV, congratulations. You are offically a Tween’s breeding ground!
I would first like to say, this show had to come to an end eventually. That doesn’t mean I wanted the guidofied trainwreck to end! Out of sheer enjoyment, watching these bronzed Jersey residents make absolute fools of themselves has been like people watching on steroids… or for some, Ron-ron juice. -Jeremy
Just days after Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi brought a new baby Guido into the world, MTV has cancelled Jersey Shore. According to Entertainment Weekly, season six of the reality show, which debuts October 4, will be the last.
The last season of Jersey Shore will see the old GTL crew back in n Seaside Heights, NJ. In addition, MTV is planning a retrospective called Gym, Tan, Look Back that will air before the Video Music Awards on Thursday, Sept. 6. Afterward, the Jersey Shore cast will appear live on the red carpet for the VMA pre-show.
Jersey Shore premiered back in 2009 and had skyrocketed to nearly 9 million viewers two years later, making it the most popular program in MTV history. But once the crew went to Italy, ratings started to plummet, and we could take no more of Ronnie & Sam’s dysfunction.
Of course, it’s not like we can escape the cast members of Jersey Shore. The show’s two spinoff, The Pauly D Project and Snooki & JWOWW remain. The latter has been renewed for a second season; we’re still waiting to hear about the fate of Pauly D’s show. Also, an MTV exec said he’d definitely be interested in a Snooki-Jionni wedding special (the two are engaged but not yet hitched).
