Maybe it’s because no one wants to date a poller.. but every Valentine’s day there a bunch of useless surveys.
BUT – in the age old atm vs ut debate, here’s one you can use against the horns.
According to the cheating website Ashley Madison, Austin, TX comes in SECOND of top 10 least faithful cities in the US.
Ouch.

If you’re like me, even though warmer weather is right around the corner – you’re slow to let go of those sweaters.
I’m not really sure what I was looking for when I went out for my fashion find yesterday, but Merge boutique just set out all their spring stuff, and well, it was hard not to give in.
Looking for something really bright?! Merge has all your neons – yellow, pink, orange. And mint is an “it” color of the season, and that’s not in short supply either.
I went with a tied up orange and minty tank top ish blouse. It’s in that picture, but as my photography skills are awful, see a full pic below.
And if ever you’re thinking, MAN, where in the eff am I going to get a dark purple layering tank?! This place has every color you need – and then some.
I went with some kind of gray brown because it matched my awesome tennis shoe heels. Yes, I am obsessed with them right now.
Now compare all that with THIS.
One of the reasons I first discovered/fell in love with Merge, was because of their jewelry. That’s all the new stuff they JUST GOT IN! No matter the occasion, they’ve got some of the best jewelry in town.
I’m not a huge fan of big pieces – or SUPER blinged out stuff – and the great thing about Merge is they have the understated stuff for someone like me, and the rhinestone blang blang for someone more daring like my best friend Jessica.
Before I checked out, these are sitting right by the register. I oogle them every time I am in that store, so in the spirit of Valentine’s Day, I finally broke down and bought some. In my mind, it completed my ensemble.
Here’s my friend Alan and I, rocking my new Merge swag.
Stop by and see them. You can find Merge on Harvey Road, next to Al’s in the TJ Maxx Shopping Center.
Don’t forget everything is UNDER $50!!!
Check ‘em out on FACEBOOK.
Happy Friday!

Each week I go out and quiz the BCS.
Here are this week’s questions. How would you have done?!

2. Betsy Ross reported that she sewed the first American flag in May of 1776.
June 14, 1777 – to establish an official flag for the new nation, the Continental Congress issued the first Flag Act: “Resolved, That the flag of the United States be made of thirteen stripes, alternate red and white; that the union be thirteen stars, white in a blue field, representing a new Constellation.”
Today the flag consists of thirteen horizontal stripes, seven red alternating with 6 white. The stripes represent the original 13 colonies, the stars represent the 50 states of the Union. The colors of the flag are symbolic as well: Red symbolizes Hardiness and Valor, White symbolizes Purity and Innocence and Blue represents Vigilance, Perseverance and Justice.
I guess that’s where the colors were coming in..

MAAAAAAIL TIME.
Katy,
Just started dating a girl about 3 weeks ago. With Valentines Day right around the corner, how should we go about this?!
I really like her, but we are still in the stages of getting to know each other. I don’t want her to think I’m moving too fast.
HELP!
Harry
I have received so many different variations of THIS EMAIL.
Valentine’s Day is the biggest minefield of any new relationship. If you just started dating someone, I know your panicking about it.. and YOU SHOULD BE.
If this helps, here’s the majority opinion. In a new survey, 42% of people say you should ONLY do a vday dinner if you’ve been dating about 2 months.. 37% said you should wait until it’s been 3.
OVERALL, almost 80% of people say if you started dating someone in 2013, IT’S TOO SOON.
What do you think of this?
I would agree you probably shouldn’t put a bunch of pressure on a Valentine’s “dinner.” BUT, you definitely shouldn’t ignore the occasion either.
What would you do?!
Before I even started this week’s little shopping spree, I sat on my sunglasses. I killed them.. DESTROYED THEM.
Unless I wanted them to hang off my face at a severely awkward angle that made my face look lopsided, it was time to retire ‘em.
Here’s a note about me, when I find a store I really like, I’m pretty dedicated. So, mourning the recent loss of my shades, I decided to go back to Pine Boutique.
As luck would have it, they now sell RAY BANS. What are the odds? Since I broke my cheapo pair on the way there, I felt obligated to at least look at these beauties.
They had two different cases, the first of which contained the more classic aviator styles in different lens shades and then those thick black ones which I know are super popular, but I would never put on my own face BECAUSE THEY WOULD LOOK AWFUL.
*P$ tells me they are called Wayfarers* hahaha
The other case was a little more colorful.
I loved all of them.
Never in my life have I bought designer glasses. I’m more of a cheap gas station aviator kinda girl, but the options they had over at Pine made me reconsider that.
I am now the proud owner of a pair of Bans. I don’t know if anyone calls them that, I’m just delighted with my find.
I am even wearing them as I type this, which I’ll have you know is no easy endeavor. I told Frito I would sleep with them if I could.
If you’re looking for a pair of Ray Bans, I would highly suggest heading over to Pine Boutique. They are located in the shopping center with Bed Bath and Beyond, Double Daves, and Pier 1.
Guys, these might even be a good gift to consider for your gf/wife for Valentine’s Day.
I’m a Ray Ban convert, and everyone needs a good pair of shades!
Happy Friday.
