Galveston has recently been expanding the Port of Galveston but there’s one small problem.
One of the only remaining ships from the Navy of the Republic of Texas, The Zavala, is lying under the expansion ground.
The wreckage was covered during an expansion of the port after the warship was run aground and forgotten 173 years ago.
