So, this is the new dish that is all the rage in Japan right now. It’s called Odori don - wich translates to “dancing squid rice bowl.” Basically, they take a fresh squid, chop its head off and plop it in a rice bowl. But the real magic happens when they pour soy sauce on top of the fresh squid.
According to the Daily Mail,
“The high salt content in the sauce reacts with ions in cells of the squids’ tentacles creating voltage differences, and making the squid move.”
