A note allegedly written by a 6th grader in Western New York has gone viral after a car owner says it saved him thousands.
Andrew Sipowicz, a 21-year-old Buffalo resident and a junior at Canisius College, shared two photos on Twitter showing damage to his car and a note purportedly written by a young student at Houghton Academy.
“If your (sic) wondering what happen to your car,” the note says, alleging a hit-and-run.
The handwritten note says Buffalo Public School Bus No. 449 hit Sipowicz’s car on the driver’s side when it was parked near the child’s bus stop around 5 p.m. A dent can be seen near the red car’s front left tire, along with scratches and a small patch of yellow paint.
An unidentified female bus driver allegedly “tried to [veer] over and squeeze threw (sic),” the note says. “She made a dent and I saw what happened.”
The note included an illustration of “the bus that hit your car” with a concerned child looking out the window at the alleged accident.
