A little over a month ago Twitter gave some users the chance to use 280 characters in their tweets instead of the normal 140. Testing must have gone well because they rolled out that longer limit to everyone yesterday.
Just think of how many spam keywords trolls will be able to fit into their tweets now. Thanks, Twitter!

Now that we all have #280Characters, we expect your Twitter complaints about specific calls against your favorite teams to be calm, well-reasoned, and full of complete sentences. Thanks in advance for this positive step forward in basketball officiating-related discourse."

flipped,
turned

down
And
I'd
like
to
take
a
minute
just
sit
right
there
I'll
tell
you
how
I

"I made all the Tweets yuge. Tweets were so much shorter before I came along. The shortest tweets you've ever seen. Unbelievably short. But now we have the longest tweets. They're so long we don't know what to do with all the extra length. Tremendous length." #280characters

SOME
Body
Once told me
The world is gonna roll me
I ain’t the sharpest tool in the shed
She was looking kind of dumb
With her finger and her thumb
In the shape
Of an “L”
On her forehead
WELL
The years start coming
And they don’t stop coming

Just because you have #280characters, doesn't mean you should feel compelled to use them. A lot of essays floating around today.
