Tom Hanks has found his niche on social media… his Twitter feed has basically become a lost and found for random items he comes across.
Last year, he found a girl’s college ID during a walk in the park, and then used Twitter to connect with her so she could get it back. And he’s Tweeted about how a man found his credit card on a New York street and returned it to him.
Now, Tom has taken to posting photos of things like missing socks, gloves, shoes, forks, and unknown items, along with witty comments about them.
He’s not actually trying to find the items’ owners although he does include a location occasionally it’s just something he’s apparently doing for fun, and it’s become his thing.
Of course, Tom’s followers have noticed this, and are Tweeting things like: “You and your gloves, I swear,” and “Is no one going to mention that Tom Hanks’ Twitter is 75% pictures of lost articles of clothing?”
