Season 7 of Parks & Rec is set in 2017. In one episode Tom and Andy (Aziz Ansari and Chris Pratt) travel to Chicago where they learn an interesting bit of information that, until Wednesday, was merely a fantasy that could only come true in a fictional TV show.
The setting is summer of 2017 in Chicago where, “Everyone’s in a really great mood now because of the Cubs winning the series” which means the Chicago would have had to win the World Series in November of 2016!
