An ALBINO COBRA was Found in College Station

Animal Control responded to a call in the area near Panera Bread for a snake that had behaved aggressively.

Turns out it was a FOOT LONG MONOCLED ALBINO COBRA!

The snake was removed and Animal Control is attempting to locate the owner. If you haven’t put it all together… those cobras aren’t native to College Station and owning one is illegal. They’re mainly found in South and Southeast Asia and cause the highest fatalies due to snake venom poisoning in Thailand.

Animal Control is asking that if anyone has information regarding ownership of the snake to please contact the College Station Police Department at 979-764-3600.
Please be mindful of the safety of your pets in this area and remember to keep your dogs on leash.
