“Back to the Future” Day finally came and went. Here’s some of what went down.
1. As promised Nike made self-tying shoes a reality yesterday. They sent a pair to MICHAEL J. FOX along with a letter saying the sneakers are being released next spring to help raise money for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research.

2. MICHAEL J. FOX was scheduled as a guest on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” last night, but when Jimmy was talking about Back to the Future day in the middle of his monologue, the stage went dark, lights flashed, some fog came in, and a DeLorean rolled out.
And when the doors opened, he stepped out as Marty McFly, along with CHRISTOPHER LLOYD dressed as Doc Brown.
3. The “Back to the Future” cast reunited on the “Today“ show. And they were asked what line fans say to them the most.
Christopher Lloyd said: “Roads? Where we’re going, we don’t need roads.”
Lea Thompson answered, “You’re my density.”
And for Michael J. Fox it was: “McFly, you Irish bug.”
4. “USA Today” is publishing a mock front page today, to match one from October 22nd, 2015 that appeared in the movie.
