Queen Bey made good on her promise to help Hurricane Harvey victims as she stopped in the Houston area over the weekend. The singer made her rounds and stopped by her church, Houston’s St. Johns church where she made an emotional speech saying “Y’all are my family. Houston is my home. I thank God that y’all are safe, that your children are safe. The things that really matter are your health and your children, and your family and your life.”
As reported earlier the singer had been working with her foundation BeyGood to organize different ways she could help victims. The singer is scheduled to continue her Harvey Relief efforts Tuesday September 12th, on the star studded Hurricane Harvey Telethon.
