In 2011, Bryan Ware didn’t like the fact that a local restaurant threw away all crayons that had been put on customer’s tables whether they had been used or not.
He actually was so upset that he set up a nonprofit called The Crayon Initiative.
Basically they collect old and used crayons, melt them down, remold them then distribute them to hospitals across California
