Daniel Radcliffe Explains Why People Mistake Him for Elijah Wood

Daniel Radcliffe often gets mistaken for Elijah Wood but he doesn’t mind.  He even has a little fun with it.

“If you come up and say, ‘Are you Elijah Wood?’  I’ll say no, and I won’t tell you who I am.”

He gets why it happens.  There are some physical similarities but it goes deeper than that.

He says, quote, “It’s because the idea of us is the same. We’re both short guys with big blue eyes and brown hair.  And we did fantasy movies that came out at the same time.”

Daniel thinks they should make a movie together that takes advantage of the confusion. “I’m thinking of trying to write some sort of mistaken identity thing where one of us kills the other.”
