Flavor Flav Offers to produce dating show ‘Melinda of Love’ for Melinda Gates

Houston Chronicle – “Yeah boy!”

Rapper Flavor Flav wants to help Melinda Gates find love.

In light of her recent split from her former husband Bill Gates, the emcee offered to produce a reality-romance series for Gates titled, “Melinda of Love,” as first reported by Too Fab.

“Hey yo! We should do a TV show on Melinda Gates!” he said in a video, speaking to Too Fab. “‘The Melinda of Love.’ Yeah, I’ll produce it. I’ll be the one to set up Melinda.”

While many may know him for his role as an emcee in the legendary group Public Enemy, the rapper also made major waves in the early 2000s for his own reality romance shows, “Flavor of Love” and “Strange Love.” He also guest-starred on “I Love New York.”

In the show “Flavor of Love,” women would compete for a chance to be with the legendary rapper. The show managed to run for three seasons on VH1.

Now, Flavor Flav wants to reproduce the bachelorette-style show for Gates.

“I know one thing: Melinda ain’t sad,” he said. “I doubt she’s sad, come on man — she’s going to walk away with half! She cannot be sad. And if she’s sad, we’re gonna take her to the hospital to get a check-up. Walking away with a $130 bill[ion]? Come on man! That’s not a sad day in the neighborhood to me.”

According to Flav, both Bill and Melinda need new partners — “per the wisdom of Flav, the type of partner Melinda needs right now is ‘the next one she finds’ — and the same goes for Bill,” Too Fab reported.

“Melinda! Contact your boy Flavor Flav and I’ll hook you up with a man!”

Although Flavor Flav has made the offer, there’s been no word from Melinda Gates on if she would participate, or even if she’s interested in finding a new romantic partner.
