Nerdist – If there’s one sentiment we’re hearing a lot during quarantine, it’s that “we’re all in this together.” And one group of people who made this phrase prevalent in the last few decades is the cast of High School Musical. The final song from that 2006 Disney Channel original movie was literally called “We’re All in This Together,” and was about a group of disparate youths joining forces to overcome a different sort of oppressor: teen cliques.
Regardless, it’s a meaningful phrase and one the cast will once again put into our ears this week in a special singalong performance on ABC. The Disney Family Singalong airs this Thursday, April 16 at 8 p.m. ET and is set to feature a number of stars singing iconic Disney songs for viewers, from Josh Gad to Christina Aguilera and more. And perhaps most excitingly, the cast of the original High School Musical will perform “We’re All in This Together.”
