Houston Chronicle – A Texas H-E-B found itself in the spotlight Sunday when a TikTok created by its workers got an unexpected shout out from John Krasinski in his new Youtube series.
Krasinski’s “Some Good News” show began posting in late March. In the midst of a torrent of distressing news caused by the global coronavirus pandemic, the show focuses on good news from around the globe. Host Krasinski also often brings in celebrity guests via video call.
Twitter user @TyEashaHandy tweeted the H-E-B video in early April, which features Huntsville H-E-B workers performing the popular #somethingnewchallenge to the tune of Something New by Wiz Khalifa and Ty Dolla $ign.

Sunday’s SGN video had a special surprise for Texans at the 2:02 mark.
“And as if showing up each day to rise to the challenge wasn’t enough, these heroes somehow find the strength to do it all with a little extra joy in their hearts,” Krasinski says before showing the video from the area H-E-B.
