It’s been 12 years since we last saw Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker in action in the Rush Hour franchise. There have been talks of a fourth instalment but it seems like production keeps stalling. But Chan and Tucker have just made a huge suggestion that the movie is on the way.
Tucker posted a picture of the pair holding up the number four, so it doesn’t take a genius to put two and two together.
The 47-year-old comedian was speaking on the Winging It podcast, where he said: “We’re working on a few things on the script right now, so we’re trying to get into production. But we’re working on it and trying to get it going.
“Jackie Chan wants to do it, I want to do it, [the] studio wants to do it, so we’re trying to get it together.
“I guess, Jackie and me, but yeah, I was definitely down as long as it comes together right. And it looks like it’s coming together right.”
During his appearance on the podcast, Tucker also spoke about his admiration for his co-star. It turns out that Tucker was a big Jackie Chan fan, even before he worked with the diminutive martial artist and actor.
