The 51-year old pop mogul will be honored with the Icon Award at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards. The award which recognizes artist’s cultural impact inside and outside the music industry has been given to some of the top names in music. Prince, Cher, Jenifer Lopez and even Stevie Wonder have all been recipients of the award and this year Jackson will take the stage and perform her first televised performance in nine years.
