Kesha has made her first public statement for the first time since her appearance in court last week when a New York judge denied her request to be released from her contract with Sony after claiming that producer Dr. Luke had sexually, physically and verbally abused her.
Of coarse plenty of other pop stars have reached out in support but Kesha took to Instagram to let her fans know that their support has not gone unnoticed.
“I am beyond words in gratitude. thank you is not enough but it is all I have,” the 28-year-old wrote alongside a sunlit selfie. “The support I have received has left my face swollen from tears. I love you all so much.”
Apparently she has a bigger statement planned that was to big for a single Insta post that is coming soon. We’ll keep you posted.
