About two weeks ago Brandon Williams, a 13-year-old with autism, was having lunch at school when one his best friends started choking on a piece of apple.
It turns out Brandon had seen the Heimlich maneuver on an old episode of SpongeBob SquarePants and he used it to save her life.
Before their teacher even realized what was happening Brandon grabbed Jessica, started doing the Heimlich and she coughed up the apple.
According to their parents the two of them have basically been inseparable since it happened.
