Lady Gaga has released a deeply personal video for her album title single “Joanne.” The singer slowed things down with a piano version of the song and expressed the meaning behind the title.
“Joanne was my father’s sister who died at the age of 19 from the auto-immune disease lupus” the singer expressed. “My father was only 15 when she passed away.”
Gaga gets more personal about her late aunt in her Netflix documentary “Five Foot Two” and is already rumored to be working on her new album.
