Manchester Residents Open Their Homes to Victims of the Ariana Grande Concert Attack

22 people were killed and more than 50 were injured when the bomb went off outside an arena in Manchester, England, as people were leaving an Ariana Grande concert.

This tragedy is heart breaking but the out pouring of love by local residents brings our hope for humanity back.

There have been reports of locals opening their homes to people who need everything from a place to stay to just a cup of tea.  They’ve also been helping reunite parents with their kids through Twitter. Taxis have also been offering free rides to those in need.

Ariana wasn’t injured and didn’t seem to be targeted in the attack but is shaken none the less.

The attack happened outside of the arena at around 10:30 p.m., local time, as people were filing out of the building.  Police are investigating it as an act of terrorism and it appears to have been the work of a suicide bomber.
