What a week it’s been for anyone who’s feeling a wave of ’90s nostalgia. Nickelodeon has announced they’re calling the Midnight Society back to revive the classic ’90s horror show, Are You Afraid of the Dark?
You know, the one that gave us childhood nightmares for years because it scared the living daylights out of us? Yes, that one. The miniseries is set to air in October and, if following the same concept, will see a group of teens called The Midnight Society as they take it in turns to tell spooky stories around a campfire in each episode.
The show plans to coincide with the release (11 October) of a previously-announced film adaptation of the same show, written by IT screenwriter, Gary Dauberman.
