Olympics Medal Count: The U.S. Leads with 100

We got seven more medals at the Olympics yesterday, including FIVE gold, a silver, and a bronze.  Which puts us at exactly 100 medals.  Here are the standings coming into Friday.

1.  The United States leads with 100 medals 
35 gold, 33 silver, and 32 bronze.

2.  China with 58 medals 
20 gold, 16 silver, and 22 bronze.

3.  Great Britain with 56 medals 
22 gold, 21 silver, and 13 bronze.

4.  Russia with 44 medals  
12 gold, 15 silver, and 17 bronze.

5.  Japan with 36 medals 
12 gold, 6 silver, and 18 bronze.
