President Trump was on the field for the “Star Spangled Banner” before last night’s college football championship between Georgia and Alabama and is facing some criticism. What’s new.
There’s video of him during the National Anthem only singing some of the words. There are times when he’s enthusiastically singing right along but there are also times when he’s not singing at all. There’s also parts when it looks like he’s moving his mouth in an attempt to look like he’s singing.
One simple explanation could be where he was standing on the field. When something is being played over a PA for an entire stadium, the reverberation and echos can make it impossible to hear what’s being played.
