Rachel Platten (“Fight Song”) forgot the words to the “Star-Spangled Banner” twice over the weekend at a women’s professional soccer game in Utah.
We all get nervous and sometimes your brain just fails you. The singer barley made it past the first line when she had to start over then quickly fumbled on her second try before the crowd picked up to help her out.
She finished strong as helicopters flew over but we’re not sure she’ll be able to book a National Anthem gig for a while.
