It’s about as big of a shock as a season finale of Grey’s Anatomy, but Shonda Rhimes is making the move to Netflix. The Emmy winning producer signed a “a multi-year deal to produce new series and other projects” with Netflix, which ends her 15-year long run with ABC. Rhimes long time partner Betsy Beers will also be making the move with her.
So What is going to happen to TGIT? Don’t worry Rhimes said in a statement “Our current shows will continue to thrive on ABC and Shondaland will be there every step of the way.”
I don't care what anyone says. Shonda Rhimes coming to Netflix is gonna be glorious. This is only good news as far as I'm concerned.
