Ted’s Weekend in 5 Photos

It’s was a weekend for new adventures, let’s dive in.

We went to see the 10th anniversary of The Nutcracker presented by Ballet Brazos at TAMU and it was incredible. My wife is a HUGE fan of The Nutcracker too, so it was a win-win for us!

We ran out of room in our guest room for our guest bed, so we decided to sell it on Facebook Marketplace. Thankfully it was pretty easy this time around, but every time before this where I’ve tried to sell something on Facebook Marketplace, my inbox gets flooded with people who haven’t read the description.

Like, no I can’t deliver it, I included that in the description.

and lastly…our FIRST EVER trip to Buc-ee’s!

What can I say that hasn’t been said by countless other people? I’m not sure what I was expecting, but this blew my expectations out of the water. Is it a gas station? A grocery store? Heaven on earth? I’m gonna go with the latter.

We went to the Bastrop, TX, location after a quick trip to Austin to catch up and have brunch with a friend from home.

As someone from the north, I don’t think any place will ever top Sheetz as my favorite convenience store, but MAN it is close. It is safe to say though that while we’re here, we’ll be making a few trips to Buc-ee’s.
