Thrillist.com released a list of “The Best Band from Every State” and naturally there’s a lot of controversy.
Here’s the rules per the site
- The band must have been formed in or primarily based in the state .
- Only groups, not individual artists, are considered.
This skews the list away from hip-hop and country
Thrillist says they considered historical significance, influence, popularity, and quality (however that’s judged).
